Frequently Asked Questions - Four Courts Hostel

1. Where is The Four Courts Hostel Located?

The Four Courts Hostel is very centrally located, just 2 minutes walk from the popular nightspot, Temple Bar which plays host to a range of attractive restaurants and pubs. We are also a mere 5 minutes from O'Connell Street and Henry Street ( Dublin's main shopping street ).

2. Is there a curfew?

No. The Four Courts Hostel is open 24 hours. All guests are issued with a security pass which must be shown to reception/night porter upon entering the building.

3. What is included in the price?

The price includes accommodation, fresh linen and bedding, use of all the facilities and a continental breakfast.

4. What are the check-in and check-out times?

Guests are welcome to check-in any time of the day or night as the reception is open 24 hrs. However the rooms cannot be occupied before 3.00pm. Guests can store their bags in the luggage room and are free to use the rest of the Hostel until the rooms are ready. Check-out time is 10.30 am each morning. We do not have a lock-out policy.

5. What is the difference between a standard and ensuite room?

Majority of our rooms are ensuite. An ensuite room has its own private shower and toilet. A standard room has toilet facilities (i.e. washbasin and toilet) but guests use the communal shower located at the end of each corridor.

6. Are there parking facilities nearby?

The Four Courts Hostel has its own secure private car park facilities. We have 10 parking spaces directly behind the Hostel.
