Q?

What is the cancellation Policy?

A.

For individual reservations we require 24hrs notice of cancellation (before 3.00pm on the previous day). If a guest does not show up and does not cancel we will charge the first nights accommodation and cancel the rest of the booking. For Groups we require a non refundable deposit/valid credit card which will be pre authorised. All cancellation's must be in writing 4 weeks prior to the arrival date.

What methods of payment are acceptable?

A.

We accept cash and credit cards (Master card and Visa) only.
We do not accept travelers and personal cheques. When making a reservation either a credit card number or deposit is required to secure the booking. For Groups we require a 25% deposit to secure the booking and the balance paid 4 weeks prior to the arrival date.

What safekeeping facilities are provided?

A.

There are safe deposit boxes located near reception for money, tickets and passport storage. There is a small fee of €2.00 per night. There are also storage cages under the beds which are numbered to correspond with bed. Locks can be rented from reception if you do not bring your own.

Are there luggage storage facilities provided?

A.

Yes. The luggage room is accessible 24hrs a day and is free of charge during your stay. The key is at reception.
Check out is at 10:30 am and bags can be stored until 6pm on the day of departure. Guests that check out at 10:30 am but are not flying until the following morning will need to book another nights accommodation if they want to leave their bags past 6pm.

Do you have Car Parking facilities?

A.

Yes. We have 10 private Car Park spaces. They are located directly behind the Hostel and accessable 24hrs. The charge is €10 per night & a € 50 deposit for the key or we hold an form of ID for the duration of your stay. You must come into reception to get the key first.

What are the differences between and ensuite room and a standard room?

A.

The majority of our rooms are ensuite. An ensuite room has its own private shower, washbasin and toilet. A standard room has toilet facilities (i.e. washbasin and toilet) and guests use the communal shower located at the end of each corridor.

Is there a Lock-out?

A.

No. After check-in guests have access to their rooms 24hrs a day.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

A.

Guests are welcome to check-in at any time of the day or night as the reception is open 24hrs.The rooms usually cannot be occupied before 2.00 -3.30pm depending on which floor you are on but guests are welcome to store their bags in the luggage room and use the Hostel facilities until the rooms are ready. Ask our staff upon arrival if the room is ready and if it is we'll let you in straight away. Check-out time is at 10.30am each morning.

What is included in the price?

A.

Fresh Linen and bedding and use of all the facilities are included. A Light continental breakfast is avalable free from 7-9.30am (Tea, Coffee, Juice, Cereal, jam,toast & cookies) each morning. Free Wifi, Free internet and Free international phone calls are also provided.Check out our list of facilities.

is there a curfew?

A.

No. You can go to bed as early or late as you like! The Four Courts Hostel is open 24hrs and there is always someone on reception. All guests are issued with a security pass which must be shown to reception / night porter upon entering the building.

Where is the Four Courts Hostel Located

A.

The Four Courts Hostel is located in the City Centre just 5 minutes walk from the popular nightspot, Temple Bar and a 12 minute walk from O' Connell Street and Grafton Street (Dublin's main shopping street).We are directly accross the river from the ' Four Courts ' , the main Law Courts of Ireland from which we get our name.
